Three Questions People Ask About iPostal1

Can I have a location in a different state?

Yes. iPostal1's own pages say you can add additional mailbox locations with a click and manage all of them from one login; each location is a separate mailbox with its own plan and its own Form 1583 (ipostal1.com, checked October 27, 2026). That is the case where a network beats a building: Wilton Plaza is one address in Wilton Manors, Florida, and cannot give you a second one in Texas.

Where are the locations?

The home page lists more than 4,250 locations, with a state picker covering all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and Guam, plus Canada and international addresses, and a filter to show only office buildings and workspaces. The locations are shipping stores, mail centers and workspaces that list their address on the platform; the page invites such businesses to list theirs (ipostal1.com, checked October 27, 2026). What the address looks like to a bank or a client depends on which one you pick.

Does iPostal1 have hidden fees?

Not hidden, but below the headline. From the pricing page on October 27, 2026: the plan price varies by location tier; mail items above the plan are $0.35 each; a content scan is $2.25 for up to 10 pages, then $0.25 a page; storage after the free period is $1.10 per item per month for letters and $1.10 per pound for packages; consolidating packages is $1.95 each; some locations charge a pickup fee; forwarding is at the carrier's rate. A month with 40 letters and 5 scans on the 30-item plan at a Standard location is therefore $14.99 + $3.50 + $11.25 before forwarding, and more at a Select, Premium or Prestige location.

What Wilton Plaza charges for the same things

ItemBusiness Address, $39/moVirtual Office, $49/mo
Letters30 a month included, then $1 eachUnlimited
Packages (up to 10 lb)2 a month included, then $5 each5 a month included, then $5 each
Scan (opening plus the first 10 pages)$5 per envelope; pages after the 10th $0.20 each5 a month included, then $5 per envelope
Forwarding of lettersActual postage, no markup
StorageLetters free for 30 days, then $5 per item per started week; packages free for 7 days, then $10 per package per started week
Notary$10 an act5 acts a month included, then $10
Conference Room or Workspace1 hour a month, then $25 an hour2 hours a month, then $25 an hour

Every one of these is on the pricing page; there is no location tier and no per-item counter on the Virtual Office plan, so a month with 40 letters costs the same as a month with 4.

Detailed Comparison

iPostal1 is the largest digital mailbox network in the United States. It does not operate locations itself: it lists thousands of shipping stores, mail centers and workspaces and sells a digital mailbox at each of them. Wilton Plaza is one owner-operated commercial building in Wilton Manors, Broward County, with its own front desk. The two solve different problems and are priced differently for that reason.

When iPostal1 Is Better

Choice and software. iPostal1 has addresses in thousands of cities, so if you need a mailbox in three states, it is the obvious pick. Its app is mature: every item is photographed, scans and forwarding are requested with a tap, and business plans start at $14.99 a month for 30 mail items. For a pure digital mailbox with light mail volume, the entry price is lower than ours. It also sells registered agent service as a $99-a-year add-on from day one; ours is by application after the first year.

When Wilton Plaza Is Better

The address itself. A Wilton Plaza address belongs to a commercial office building with a staffed front desk, a Conference Room and an on-site notary, not to a retail mailbox counter. That matters when a bank, a licensing board or a client checks the address. The price is flat: $39 a month for Business Address, $49 for Virtual Office, no setup fee, no location tier, every extra charge on one page. If you want a Florida business address that reads as an office, with people at the desk and a room to meet a client, Wilton Plaza costs about the same as a mid-tier iPostal1 plan with fees and gives you a building instead of a counter.

How to Switch From iPostal1 to Wilton Plaza

  1. Choose Business Address ($39 a month) or Virtual Office ($49) on the pricing page and pay; no setup fee, no deposit.
  2. Complete the short online form, upload a photo ID and one proof of address, and book the 5-minute video call with Tricia, our office manager. Your Office Agreement and Address Confirmation arrive within 3 business days after the call; most clients are active within 5 business days of paying.
  3. Update Sunbiz with the new address in the approved format, 1881 NE 26th Street, Suite 212, #N, Wilton Manors, FL 33305; the steps are in how to change your Florida LLC address on Sunbiz.
  4. Give the new address to the IRS, your bank, Stripe, Amazon and Google, then close the iPostal1 plan before its next billing date (their plans have no contract).

Comparison FAQ
