How to Change Your Florida LLC Address on Sunbiz (2026)
A Florida LLC changes its principal office address and mailing address on Sunbiz in one of three ways: in the annual report (January 1 to May 1, $138.75), in an amended annual report any time after that ($50), or by Articles of Amendment by mail ($25) if the LLC was formed this year. The online routes post within minutes. The registered agent is a separate field with its own $25 statement.
This is the step everyone takes who moves a company off a home address, a mailbox store or a digital mailbox and onto a business address at a commercial building. It is short. The fees and procedures below were checked on October 27, 2026 on the Division of Corporations site and in the Florida LLC statute; links are at each step.
Which Route Applies to You
| Your situation | How to change the address | Fee | How fast |
|---|---|---|---|
| LLC formed before January 1 of this year, annual report not yet filed this year | File the annual report online and change the addresses in it | $138.75 (the report itself; $538.75 after May 1) | Posts within minutes when paid by card |
| LLC formed before January 1 of this year, annual report already filed | File an amended annual report online | $50.00 | Posts within minutes when paid by card |
| LLC formed after January 1 of this year | Articles of Amendment, the PDF form, by mail | $25.00 | Processed in the order received |
| Registered agent or registered office also changes | Statement of Registered Agent/Registered Office Change, or the same change inside the annual report | $25.00 as a separate statement; included in the report | Same as the route used |

Step 1: Have the New Address Active First
File the change only when the new address is yours to use. At Wilton Plaza that is the day you receive your Office Agreement and Premises and Address Confirmation, within 3 business days after the verification video call; most clients are active within 5 business days of paying. The approved format is:
[Company name] 1881 NE 26th Street, Suite 212, #N Wilton Manors, FL 33305
"#N" is your mailbox number. Use the address only in this format, on Sunbiz and everywhere else, so that every record matches and mail is sorted to your box. If you do not have the address yet, a Florida business address for your LLC is $39 a month, billed $117 a quarter or $390 a year, no setup fee.
Step 2: Change the Address on Sunbiz
Online, in the annual report (LLCs formed before January 1 of this year)
- Open File Annual Report on the Division of Corporations site and have your document number ready (search by name if you do not have it).
- In the report, change the principal office address and the mailing address. The same form lets you change the names and addresses of managers or authorized members and the registered agent, if those change too.
- Pay by credit or debit card. The report is processed and posted immediately; the annual report for an LLC is $138.75, and a $400 late fee applies after May 1.
- Download the filed report from Sunbiz once it posts; you will want a copy for the bank.
If you already filed this year's report, file an amended annual report the same way, $50.00 for an LLC. Everything on the report is public record and visible on the Division's website.
By mail, with Articles of Amendment (LLCs formed after January 1 of this year)
- Download the LLC Amendment (PDF) from the Florida LLC Forms page.
- Fill in the company name, the date the articles were filed, and the new principal office and mailing address.
- Sign it and mail it to the Division of Corporations with the $25 fee; checks are payable to the Florida Department of State. Mail filings are processed in the order received.
If the registered agent changes too
The principal and mailing address are your company's fields; the registered agent field belongs to the agent. A new business address does not change the agent, and a business address provider may not be listed as the agent unless it has accepted that role in writing. To change the agent or its office, file the Statement of Registered Agent/Registered Office Change ($25) or make the change in the annual report. At Wilton Plaza, registered agent service is a separate service, $99 a year, offered after the first year with us, by application; see the Florida registered agent guide.
Step 3: Update Everyone Else With the Same Address
Sunbiz does not tell anyone else. Work through this list in one sitting, using the exact same format:
- IRS. Form 8822-B, Change of Address or Responsible Party, Business. No fee. The EIN itself does not change; see the EIN address fields for which IRS field is which.
- Bank. Most banks take the change in online banking or at a branch; bring the filed annual report or amendment and your Premises and Address Confirmation. Each bank decides what it accepts; see a business address for a Florida bank account.
- Stripe, PayPal, Amazon and Google Business Profile. Each verifies the address its own way; see a Florida business address for Stripe, Amazon and Sunbiz.
- Broward County Local Business Tax Receipt and any state license (DBPR for brokers, for example).
- Insurance, contracts, invoices, your website and email signature.
- USPS. If mail was going to your home, file a change of address with USPS for the business, or simply give every correspondent the new address; mail that reaches Wilton Plaza for a name on your Form 1583 is logged and photographed the business day it arrives.
Timing
The order that keeps every record consistent: activate the new address, file the Sunbiz change, download the filed document, then update the IRS, the bank and the platforms in the same week. Do not use the new address on any filing before it is active, and keep using the old address for mail until the new one is, so nothing is lost in between.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does it cost to change an LLC address on Sunbiz?
If the change goes in the annual report, it costs nothing beyond the report itself, $138.75 for an LLC. An amended annual report after that is $50. Articles of Amendment, the route for an LLC formed this year, are $25. Fees checked on the Division of Corporations fee page on October 27, 2026.
Can I change my Florida LLC address online?
Yes, if the LLC was formed before January 1 of the current year: file the annual report or an amended annual report with a credit card and the change posts within minutes. An LLC formed after January 1 of the current year is not due an annual report yet and files Articles of Amendment by mail.
Do I need to change my registered agent at the same time?
Only if the agent or its office changes. A new principal or mailing address does not touch the registered agent field. A change of registered agent or registered office is a separate statement, $25, and can also be made in the annual report.
What else do I need to update after Sunbiz?
The IRS (Form 8822-B for a business mailing address), your bank, payment processors such as Stripe or PayPal, Amazon or other marketplaces, Google Business Profile, your county business tax receipt and any licenses, insurance policies, contracts and your website.
When can I start using a Wilton Plaza address on Sunbiz?
After activation, when you have your Office Agreement and Premises and Address Confirmation with the approved format: 1881 NE 26th Street, Suite 212, #N, Wilton Manors, FL 33305, where #N is your mailbox number. Most clients are active within 5 business days of paying.
